Right Recipient™ alerts the sender if it detects that they are about to misaddress an email by checking whether the sender has previously sent sensitive information to those recipients. If not, it prompts the sender to verify. Additionally, the sender is prompted with the recipient’s domain age, meaning how long that domain has been in existence.
Right Recipient™ is available from RMail button version 11.3 onwards.
This article covers the following topics:
Right Recipient™ Feature
When the sender sends a Registered email, based on their active RMail settings, a warning pop-up will appear if the recipient addresses are not on the verified list.
If the sender is misaddressing some recipients, they can click on the Cancel button, modify the recipients list, and send the email. If, however, the recipient addresses are correct, the sender can click on Verified and Send button to complete the email sending process.
Domain Age
The recipient Domain age analysis brings internet intelligence into the email send flow in real time.
Based on the age of the domain, along with other domain metrics, the sender is nudged to pause and re-verify addresses.
Relatively new domains will be highlighted in yellow for caution, or red to denote they are unsafe.
