RMail Track & Prove, Registered Email service provides senders with a Registered Receipt email for proof of sending, delivery, content and time for their high-value messages. The service may be sent either Marked as a Registered Email message with a banner and markings to ensure the email stands out in the recipient’s inbox or Unmarked without any indication to the recipient that the sender has proof for that message.
The flowchart below shows the pathway of an RMail message and the resulting Acknowledgment and Registered Receipt emails.

Marked as a Registered Email
If the option Marked as a Registered Email message is selected, the email will contain an email banner and markings. To send with banners and markings follow these steps:
1. Click on the Send Registered button after composing an email.
2. On the Sending Options panel, select the option Marked as a Registered Email message.
3. Click on Send.
Marked as a Registered Email: Recipient View
Emails sent with the option Marked as a Registered Email message include the following:
- The prefix Registered in the subject, so the email stands out in the recipient’s mailbox.
- A Registered Email banner at the top of the email.
- If the recipient uses the Microsoft Outlook mail client (or other), an Outlook Read Receipt request may appear, depending on the recipient’s mail settings. If Yes is selected, RMail records and documents this information on the Registered Receipt email. If No is selected, the Registered Receipt email will not contain this type of opening indication.
Unmarked
Emails sent using the option Unmarked appear in the recipient’s mailbox identical to a standard email.
If the option Unmarked is selected, no Registered Email banner will appear on the email. To send without banners or notifications follow these steps:
1. Click on the Send Registered button after composing an email.
2. On the Sending Options panel, select the option Unmarked.
3. Click on Send.
Unmarked: Recipient View
Emails sent as Unmarked have no banner or markings.
