If you have purchased the Registered Text & Mobile Signing add-on, the verification code required for the recipient to access the RPD™ can be sent not only by email, but also via text message. You can choose the delivery method either at the RPD level or at the reader level.
Note: Make sure to enable the Text Authentication option in the Default Document Settings tab, located under the Settings tab.
The steps to send the verification code via text are the following:
1. In the Real-Time Interactivity panel, check the Send Verification Code option. If you leave it unchecked, the reader will be prompted to request the code when trying to open the RPD.
2. Go to the dropdown menu and select the Text option. If you have more than one reader and want to choose a different delivery method for each of them, make sure to keep both options enabled. If you want all readers to receive the code via text, remove the Email option and leave only Text enabled.
3. Double-click on the recipient's name to which you want to add the mobile number.
4. Enter the recipient's details and mobile number. In the Send Verification Code dropdown, you can specify the delivery method to be applied to this reader. If you don’t specify it, the delivery method set in the Real-time Interactivity panel will be used.
Click on Save.
Alternatively, you can also add the recipient's details by clicking on the recipient icon. From there, you can add more readers if needed.
