RPDs created with the RDocs™ service are formatted as .html files and can be shared in various ways, including email. Regardless of how they are shared, the method of opening an RPD remains consistent. In the case of email, recipients will receive an email with a banner stating Protected Document, which includes the RPD as an attachment.

Once the recipient clicks on the RPD, a new browser will open, prompting them to enter their email address and passcode. If the recipient did not receive the passcode in a separate email, they can request it by clicking the Click to get password link.
Note: If the RPD was sent or generated with Access Level 1 (Protect Views), the reader won’t be required to enter a password and will be able to access the document directly.

After clicking on Authorize the reader will gain access to the document. The available actions will be displayed, determined by the features used when creating the RPD.
Note: If the E-Disclosure feature was enabled by the sender, the recipient must agree to the Terms of Service before being able to view the RPD content.
