RMail online offers a flexible way to securely send emails and passwords, especially when using encryption. This ensures both the protection of sensitive information and easy access for recipients. You can customize how the message and password are delivered, either by email, SMS, or a combination of both, depending on the specific communication needs. For instance, you can send an email through traditional channels and deliver the password via SMS, or the reverse.
The Registered Text™ service offers legal, verifiable proof of delivery for content sent via SMS, just like the Registered Email™ service, and is particularly useful for organizations that need to provide important or time-sensitive notifications via text message.
RMail enables sending messages through multiple channels for each recipient within the same process. You can choose to send to some recipients via email, others via text, or even use both methods for the same message. This flexibility extends to additional features, such as requesting eSignatures with RSign Text™, ensuring faster, more efficient signing processes.
This multi-modal approach allows you to enhance security while providing a seamless experience for your recipients.
This feature is not enabled by default. It must be set to Yes in RPortal under the RMail over SMS tab, after purchasing the corresponding add-on.
- When Allow SMS transmission is set to Yes, the option to send via SMS will be enabled in RMail Online.
- With the Mask Recipient’s Mobile Number setting, you can choose to hide the recipient's mobile number across all recipient-facing user interfaces.
- With the Message and Attachment Availability setting you can specify how long the message sent via SMS will be available. If a user accesses the message and attachments after that time, they will encounter a webpage error message indicating that the registered message they are attempting to access has expired.
- With the One-time Attachment Download setting, you can specify that attachments sent via SMS can only be downloaded once.
- With the Default Country Code setting, you can specify the country code to be used by default when sending via SMS.
Note: Certain features are not compatible with the SMS service. These are indicated by a phone icon with a strikethrough, next to the feature name.
