Bulk send is designed for sending large quantities of signature requests and simplifying RSign automation without the need of using an API. With the use of templates and a CSV file, it is possible to send multiple requests to multiple people at once.

Pre-requisites
- Template creation: The Bulk send process requires the use of templates. Have at least one template ready to be used in the Bulk send CSV file.
- Gather the necessary templates Information:
1. Click on the Templates option from the top navigation bar.
2. Take note and record the template codes you will be using.
3. Click on the corresponding template edit icon.
4. Take note and record the Role types and Role names used in the template.
Note: The Prefill role type is not compatible with the Bulk send feature.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 if more than one template will be used in the Bulk send process.
Preparing the CSV file
To access and prepare the CSV file to use the Bulk send feature, follow these steps:
1. Click on the Home option from the top navigation bar.
2. Click on the Bulk send button. If you do not see this button, it means you do not have the feature enabled. Contact your Customer Success or Sales representative.
3. Click on the spreadsheet icon to download the CSV file.
4. Add the corresponding details to the spreadsheet, including your template codes, and the role types and role names used in the templates.
You have the option to use a Message template or to write the subject and message in the spreadsheet.

Uploading and reviewing of the CSV file and sending in bulk
1. Once the file is ready, browse the CSV file in your computer and then click on Upload.
2. You will be able to review the information one last time before you click on Send.
Note: If problems are found in the uploaded CSV file, they will be displayed for your attention and action.
CSV file in detail
- TransId: This column reflects the transaction ID. When more than one recipient is expected as part of the same envelope, they will have the same transaction ID.
- Template code: The code that identifies the template to be used.
- Role name: The roles are added when creating the template. Ensure these match the recipient role used in the template.
- Role type: The Role type is assigned when creating the template and should be either Signer or CC.
- Recipient name: First and last name of the recipient.
- Recipient email: Email address of the recipient.
- Comments: Optional field to enter any additional details for your records. The entered information will not be used as part of the bulk send process.
- Message template code: To use a message template, you need their corresponding ID. You can record the corresponding already created message template ID or code in the Templates page.
- Subject: Email subject that will be used when sending the transaction. The subject entered will override the one from the message template (if a Message template code is entered in the CSV file).
- Message: Message body that will be used when sending the transaction. The message entered will override the one from the message template (if a Message template code is entered in the CSV file).
- First name: Recipient's first name.
- Last name: Recipient's last name.
Tags can be used to dynamically include the recipient's name and last name in the subject line and message they would receive as part of the signature request email. Use <<FirstName>> and <<LastName>> wherever you wish to insert the values entered in the FirstName and LastName columns.
