RMail for GMail allows you to adjust and set default system features for a customized experience.
These settings will be reflected in the features pop-up that appears when you click on the Send Registered button after composing the email. To send the email, you need to click on the Send Registered button within the features pop-up.
To access the settings click on the gear icon on the bottom right corner of the compose window.
Adjust each setting on the corresponding tab according to your needs, and then click on the Save button. You can still modify these settings on the features pop-up before sending the email.
The following settings are available:
General
- Service Language: This is the language in which the service emails will be sent, including the email the recipient receives and the Registered Receipt the sender receives.
- You can automate sending the email as a Registered Message by checking the One-Click Send box.
Track & Prove
- Acknowledgement Email: Check on the box to receive an Acknowledgement email for each registered message sent.
- Registered email format: Choose the option you want to be pre-selected by default when sending an email.
- Register Reply: Check on the box to allow the recipient to reply back to you with a Registered Email message.
Encrypt
- Pre-Select Preference: Choose whether to pre-select the Encryption option by default on the feature pop-up and whether to always send the decryption password to the recipient via a separate email.
- Encryption method: Choose which Encryption method will be used as default.
- Password Encryption Options: Choose if you want to have a random system-generated password created or you want to create your own.
E-Sign
- You can choose to pre-select the E-Sign service by default on the feature pop-up, default that the message is sent with sequential signing, and default that all emails sent with E-Sign are sent encrypted.

SideNote
- When the CC and/or BCC boxes are checked, those options will appear selected by default when composing an email that contains a SideNote.
PDF Convert
- You can choose the Convert to PDF option to appear selected by default in the features pop-up. Additionally, you can set the default file types to convert to PDF when sending a registered email.
