RMail Unit Count and Limits
Track & Prove:
- Units per send (paid accounts): 1 Unit per recipient each 5MB
- Units per send (trial accounts): 1 Unit up to 5 recipients up to 25MB
- Maximum file size: 25MB
- Maximum number of recipients per send: 100 (may vary by App)
- Email storage: No message, attachment or Registered Receipt email is stored by RMail
Encrypt:
- Units per send (paid accounts): 1 Unit per recipient each 5MB
- Units per send (trail accounts): 1 Unit up to 5 recipients up to 20MB
- Maximum file size: 10MB. Since encryption tends to increase the overall message size, a cumulative file size larger than 10MB may result in a message size error from our servers.
- Maximum number of recipients per send: 100 (may vary by App)
- Email storage: No message, attachment or Registered Receipt email is stored by RMail
E-Sign:
- Units per send: 1 Units per recipient each 5MB
- Units per send: 2 Units up to 5 recipients up to 20MB (trial plans)
- Maximum file size: 20MB (5MB for .csv and .xls file types)
- Maximum number of recipients per send: 100 (may vary by App)
- Email storage: Document is stored for up to 30-days by default from when the message was received by the RMail system for processing or until signoff has been completed by all parties. Storage times may be configured between 7-90 days.

- Email storage: Email storage: Files are stored for up to 14-days by default from when the message was received by the RMail system for processing. Storage times may be configured between 1-90 days.
Register Reply/Encrypted Reply:
- Units per send: 1 Unit per reply
- Maximum file size: 1GB
- Maximum number of recipients per send: 1
- Maximum number of replies per received encrypted email: 5
- Maximum number of days available to reply: 30-days.
- Email storage: No message, attachment or Registered Receipt email is stored by RMail
Registered Receipt Email and Open Tracking:
- Receipt delivery: Registered Receipt emails for R1 will be returned to the sender within a mean time of 2 hours from the original message induction by the RPost service (the time inducted as reported on the Acknowledgement receipt).
- Open Tracking: Open tracking continues for up to 30-days from the time the original message was received by the RMail system for processing. If the opening of an email is detected from the time the Registered Receipt email is generated and up to 30-days, the sender will receive an Open Receipt.
SideNote:
- Maximum Message Character Length: 512 characters including spaces
- SideNote content is not recorded within the Registered Receipt email, sent item or usage reports
