SharePoint is Microsoft's document storage and collaboration platform, used by organizations worldwide to store and share files. RDocs has an out-of-the-box integration with SharePoint that lets any user protect a document as a Rights Protected Document (RPD™) and send it directly from the document library, without leaving the browser.
Pre-requisites
- A SharePoint Administrator (or Global Administrator) account with access to the tenant App Catalog.
- The RDocs for SharePoint package (.sppkg file) provided by RPost.
- Each user needs their own valid RDocs credentials.
Deploy the RDocs connector for your organization
1. Navigate to your Sharepoint App Catalog (https://YOUR-TENANT-NAME.sharepoint.com/sites/appcatalog/AppCatalog/Forms/AllItems.aspx), select Apps for SharePoint, then select Upload and choose the RDocs for SharePoint package (.sppkg) file.
2. In the "Do you trust RDocs for SharePoint?" dialog, check Make this solution available to all sites in the organization, then select Deploy.
Tenant-wide deployment can take a few minutes to propagate to every site collection, and occasionally longer on very large tenants. If the command doesn't appear immediately on a given site, wait and check again before troubleshooting further.
3. If you see the green “Upload completed (1 added)” message, the set up is completed.
