The RSign® service integration for Bullhorn allows users to send documents for eSignature directly from their Bullhorn platform using the RSign® system. It enables users to automatically receive signed documents in the corresponding Bullhorn record and monitor the status of sent envelopes, all within the Bullhorn interface. Additionally, users can create and modify eSign templates and send envelopes to various Bullhorn records, including candidates, clients, contacts, companies, placements, and jobs.
Pre-requisites
- Bullhorn users must have active RSign® system login credentials and an appropriate RSign® system user plan.
- User Registration in the RSign® system with Bullhorn credentials.
Integration usage
Please click on the following article to read how to setup the RSign® service for Bullhorn.
Different RSign® features are available to Bullhorn users within this integration, as described on each use case below.
- Use case 1: Sending an RSign envelope
- Use case 2: Creating an RSign-Bullhorn template
- Use case 3: Reviewing RSign envelopes in Bullhorn
Note: The same navigation process applies for these features under all the supported entities (Candidates, Clients, Contacts, Companies, Placements, and Jobs).
Use case 1: Sending an RSign® envelope
1. Log into Bullhorn.
2. Navigate to Menu>Candidates.
3. Select a Candidate from the list.
4. Select RSign in the Actions dropdown.
5. Log into the RSign® system within Bullhorn with your RSign® credentials (only if not previously logged in or with an expired session).
6. You will be presented with the RSign-Bullhorn home page. From here a user can create an envelope for the specified record, create a new template or rule related to the entity type (candidate or placement, for example), or edit a template or rule by selecting them from the dropdowns.
7. Click on Send Envelope.
8. Step 1/2 of the RSign® preparation page will appear with the selected candidate’s email and name pre-filled as a recipient.
Note: In the case of entities that contain several recipients (Company entity), the user will be able to select Client Contact records attached to the specified Company by clicking the Contacts button and then clicking on Display Bullhorn Contacts button and selecting the ones needed.
9. You can add documents from the triggered entity in Bullhorn by clicking on the + Document button and selecting the Bullhorn option.
You can also use Templates or Rules by clicking on the + Template or + Rule buttons and selecting the one to be applied. A pop-up will display all the RSign® templates/rules along with all the Bullhorn templates/rules stored for the logged in user and for the triggered entity type.
10. Fill all the details in Step 1/2 of the RSign® preparation page and then click on Next to move to Step 2/2.
11. In this step you can review the uploaded documents and drag and drop all the RSign Fillable Control Fields where needed (Signature, Initials, Email, Title, Text, etc.). If you select a Text control you will be able to select Bullhorn fields from the triggered Candidate (for e.g. First Name, Last Name, Email Address, City, State, Country, Phone Number, etc.).
12. Click on Send and the envelope will be sent to the recipients. If the envelope contains Bullhorn fields, the RSign® system will pre-populate the corresponding controls fields in the document with the information stored in Bullhorn. If the applied control fields don’t have a value in Bullhorn, they will have to be completed by the signer.
13. After all recipients sign the envelope, the final signed document will be sent back automatically to the Files tab of the candidate from where the envelope was initiated. Please note that this behavior will occur only if your RSign® administrator configured the integration to send the final signed documents into Bullhorn.
Use case 2: Creating an RSign-Bullhorn template
RSign-Bullhorn templates are pre-defined eSignature transactions, similar to normal RSign® templates but with the ability of containing certain Bullhorn data.

4. Select RSign in the Actions dropdown.

8. On Step 2/2 drag and drop fillable field controls (including Bullhorn fields from the Text Control) to the documents.
