The RMail for Zimbra integration allows Zimbra users to send Registered Email messages from their Zimbra platform via the RMail service. Users can send Registered Email messages as either Marked or Unmarked, based on user needs. This integration offers advanced features such as Encryption, File Share, E-Sign, and SideNote, providing secure, compliant and efficient email communication.
Pre-requisites
- An RMail account.
- The RMail integration fully set up on your Zimbra platform. (Refer to the setup guide if the integration has not been configured yet)
How to use RMail for Zimbra
Important note: Please refer to this article to learn how to setup RMail for Zimbra.
Once the setup has been completed, follow these steps to start using the integration:
1. Login to the Zimbra platform and search for the RMail Zimlet:
2. Double click on the Zimlet and a pop-up will allow you to sign in with your RMail account:
3. Once done, you can start composing emails and sending them using the RMail service:
4. Click on the Send RMail button and the following pop-up will appear allowing you to select the desired RMail features for your email:
5. Click on the Send button in the pop-up to send the Registered Email message with all the selected features applied.
6. The Registered Receipt email will be sent back to the sender’s inbox and automatically stored in the RMail Receipts folder within Zimbra.
