The Access Authentication setting provides an extra layer of security by allowing you to require a password or code for recipients to access the signature request and/or the signed document. This ensures that only authorized individuals can view sensitive information, offering enhanced protection for important transactions.
When creating a signature request, you can select the security level in the Access Authentication setting on the left panel, provided you have enabled it by setting it to Active in the Settings. This allows the option to appear during the request creation process. If you haven't set it to Active, you can still select the security level directly in the settings prior to creating the signature request.
